A little list of this month’s POV, a self-portrait of sorts and a handful of things I can’t live without this month
It’s finally November, one of my favorite literary months. We all know the Anne Shirley’s October quote, but do you remember how Anne felt about November?
November is usually such a disagreeable month...as if the year had suddenly found out that she was growing old and could do nothing but weep and fret over it. This year is growing old gracefully...just like a stately old lady who knows she can be charming even with gray hair and wrinkles. We've had lovely days and delicious twilights.

Watching: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (tis the season)
Playing: a serious game of peek-a-boo - Anything to make the baby smile.

Learning: to let go of certain expectations and just be still. Learning to listen.
Reading: A Fire Endless by Rebecca Ross (the sequel to A River Enchanted and boy oh boy it’s good stuff)
Trying: Mario Badescu’s moisturizer (I have achingly sensitive skin, and I usually can’t wear any moisturizer without turning into red-Shrek, but the sunscreen I usually buy sadly has been discontinued. So thus, trying…)
Eating: avocado toast (thanks to a friend’s suggestion-I’m a millennial girl to the very last avo toast crumb)
Sipping: elderberry and mint tea (I’m not sure I’ll ever stop)
Calling: no one really. Tis a shame.
Crafting: Christmas ornaments
Loving: Matt Haig’s Christmas books (my sister gifted these to me last Christmas)
Loathing: October came and went, and I hardly remember it
Discovering: a love for a vibrant wardrobe and French girl bobs
Enjoying: the soft sounds of a gentle rainfall brought by the November grey clouds
